When asked what’s all the media attention like? Abby says “I just sit back and kind of giggle,” “Everyone has been so kind and it’s so out of the ordinary for what my life has always been, but it’s been fantastic, completely unexpected, but so much fun.”
Abby has lost more than 80 pounds and says “Different scales say different things!” The 32-year-old teacher turned motivational speaker continues her weight loss journey and we are confident she will continue to reach her goals. She said she put on a “ton of muscle” at the ranch but still wants to lose 15 to 20 pounds of fat to be at a “super healthy weight,” she said.
Here are a few of her favorite foods: “I try not to be a slave to the scale,” she said. “I eat super clean and work out super hard.” Some of her favorite go-to foods are carrots and hummus, low-sodium turkey breast, Greek yogurt and blueberries, which she calls her “fast food” that she can grab at any grocery store.
Abby became a fan favorite and touched viewers by sharing her tragic loss of her family in a car crash. Abby tragically lost her two children and husband. She is now sharing her story and motivating others to follow their dreams proving that it is possible even in the face of adversity. What an inspiration….you go girl!
